Kai Lund is the senior partner in LCE, having been with the firm for over 30 years. Kai is a registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of Namibia, is Member of the Engineering Professions Association of Namibia, as well as being a Fellow of the South African Institute of Civil Engineers, a Life Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, a Member of the International Association of Hydraulic Research and a Member of the Concrete Society of Southern Africa. Kai is also a past president of the Engineering Council of Namibia.
Kai obtained his BSc (Eng.) in civil engineering from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, in 1968 and has over 38 years of experience in civil engineering which includes water supply, pipelines, canals, reservoirs, water towers, hydrology, flood analyses, township development and services, storm water drainage, roads and drainage structures, structural engineering, sewage reticulation and treatment projects. He has extensive experience in the preparation of feasibility studies, planning, design, contract documentation, quantity surveying, project and construction management, quality control and construction supervision.Kai specialises in complex hydraulic design, national and international level feasibility studies, project management and administration.

Reimund
Stoldt
|
Reimund Stoldt is a registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of Namibia and a Member of the Engineering Professions Association of Namibia.
Reimund graduated as Dipl. Ing. from the “Fachhochschule Hamburg”, Germany, in 1989. He has over 18 years of postgraduate experience and has been the team leader and senior design engineer for various multi-million dollar projects in the civil, structural and water related fields, including feasibility studies, planning reports, structural investigations, new and rehabilitation designs, tender documentation and contract administration and, in many instances, project management as well. His professional skills and experience include structural engineering, construction management and administration, quality control, township development and services, sewage reticulation and treatment, storm water drainage, roads and road surveys, hydrological analyses, hydraulic engineering, water supply and distribution, pipeline engineering, pump stations, reservoirs and rural water supply projects.
Amongst these many disciplines, Reimund specialises in structural design, project administration, contract coordination and cost control.

Hugh
Bruce
|
Hugh Bruce is a registered Professional Engineer with the Engineering Council of Namibia and a Member of the Engineering Professions Association of Namibia.
Hugh obtained a B Eng. (Civil) and MSc. (Eng.) from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, in 1998 and 2000 respectively. He has over six years of experience in hydraulic design, the design of water supply and distribution schemes, sewer reticulation schemes, construction supervision, project management, construction coordination, tender documentation as well as economic and financial analyses.
Hugh specialises in the financial and economic analyses of civil engineering schemes.

Claus Hundsdörfer
|
Claus is Registered as an Incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council of Namibia.
Claus obtained a National Higher Diploma in Engineering (Civil) from the Cape Town Technikon, South Africa, in 1986, and has over 26 years of experience. Prior to joining LCE in 1988, Claus was a Civil Engineering Technician with the Department of Water Affairs, Windhoek, for 10 years, which included a two-year stint on site with the construction of the Oanob Dam outside Rehoboth. For 10 years up to 1998, Claus was the Chief Surveyor and Civil Engineering Technician at LCE, where after he became an Incorporated Engineer.
Claus has extensive experience in detailed site, topographical, contour, cross-section and longitudinal surveys and the setting out of works. His expertise lies in the preparation of Geographical Information System databases and drawings, Digital Terrain Modelling, computerised mapping, the use of several software applications for design and quantity calculations, the design of township services and the execution of flood analyses.

Simson
Muinyangue
|
Simson Muinyangue is head of the Survey Division of LCE and is a Registered Technical Surveyor with the Namibian Council for Professional Land Surveyors, Technical Surveyors and Survey Technicians, is a Registered Technical Surveyor with ZIRCON and a Registered Survey Technician with PLATO.
Simson is also a Member of a LCE service company, Topographical and Engineering Services CC, TES, which offers surveying and related services independently of LCE. Simson obtained a National Diploma in Surveying and a B. Tech in Surveying from the Cape Technician, South Africa, in 1990 and 2003 respectively. With over 16 years of experience, Simson is proficient in the use of Total Stations, GPS Total Stations, placing of ground control points, engineering topographical surveys, and is well versed in the reconnaissance and selection of pipeline routes, detailed site surveys, ground profile surveys, detailed contour surveys as well as carrying out river cross section surveys.
Simson is also experienced in the use of many survey related computer software packages, and assists with the preparation of digital terrain models, as well as the creation of longitudinal and cross section drawings.

Martin van der Merwe
|
Martin van der Merwe is registered as an Engineer in Training with the Engineering Council of Namibia. Martin obtained a B. Eng. (Civil) from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, in 2004.
Martin has two years of experience in the design of various projects, both structural and civil, and was stationed in Tsandi in the Omusati Region of Namibia as the Resident Engineer supervising construction of the Tsandi South Water Supply Project during 2006.

Adrian Bührmann

 Adrian (Stoney) Bührmann is registered as an Engineer in Training with the Engineering Council of Namibia.
Stoney obtained a B. Eng (Civil) from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, in 2004. Stoney has two years of experience in the design of various projects, both structural and civil, and is currently the Resident Engineer supervising construction of the Tsandi South Water Supply Project in the Omusati Region of Namibia.

Arthur de Waal
|
 During 2002, Arthur de Waal completed his one year of compulsory practical training at LCE, towards his N. Dipl. in Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic of Namibia, which he obtained in 2003. Arthur was furthermore awarded the prize for being the overall best engineering diploma student at the Polytechnic in 2003.
In 2004, Arthur commenced his studies towards a B. Eng. (Civil) at the University of Stellenbosch and is currently in his final year of study. During his long vacations, Arthur has put aside time to work at LCE on various projects.

Jonas Kafidi
|
 Jonas Kafidi completed his third year of study towards a B.Sc. (Civil) at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 2002. Thereafter Jonas worked in the consulting engineering environment, gaining experience in construction supervision and site measurement, particularly in the construction of roads projects. Jonas joined LCE in 2006 and worked on the Bulk Sewer Reticulation Project, amongst others.
In 2007, Jonas will continue his studies, towards a B. Tech in Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic of Namibia.

The Tsandi Branch Office and the Community Based Management Training Team are managed by Eveline Namalenga-Ileka, who has been with LCE, working on the community component of rural water supply projects, for over eight years.
The Water Point Committee Training Team is also headed by Eveline Namalenga-Ileka, with the other members being Kleopas Stefanus, as Deputy Team Leader, Kaarna IIlonga, Willem Nepolo, and Theodor Shivute. The Local Water Committee Training Team is headed by Bekkie-Lisa Nailenge, with the other members being Jason Ndinoshiho, as Deputy Team Leader, Abraham Aiyambo, and Beata Shou. The Caretaker Training Team is headed by Jonathan Shamena, who is assisted by Olle Nangolo. Leonard Nakakuwa is the senior Community Labour Coordinator, and is assisted by Robert Hamunyela.Salmon Nanhapo is the Logistics Officer for the Water Point Committee Team and Nahum Newaka is the Logistics Officer for the Local Water Committee Team.
